Mandarin Oriental has confirmed that its luxurious
hotel on the the shores of Lake Como in Italy will reopen on 15
April 2021, for the summer season.
Set in the 18th-century Villa Roccabruna in the
charming village of Blevio on the southeastern shore of Lake Como,
the Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is surrounded by majestic
botanic gardens and stunning views in every direction.
Enhancements have been made to the Mandarin
Oriental, Lago di Como’s accommodation and public areas during the seasonal
closure, including a complete makeover of its Panoramic Suite,
features an oversized terrace with sundeck and a private pool
overlooking the lake.
The resort’s wellness facilities are located
within its lush gardens, and comprise expansive treatment suites,
a vertical Kneipp circuit, indoor pool, Mediterranean bath and a
Himalayan salt room.
Additional leisure activities include relaxing by
the seemingly floating heated outdoor swimming pool on the lake,
yoga and personal training.
Guests can also enjoy hiking and
biking along the surrounding panoramic peaks as well as water
sports, super car driving and golf at one of the nearby courses.
